excellent spa treatmentsuntrained waiting staffunbearable waiting times
the spa treatments were excellent.
The waiting staff had not grasped the basics, especially at breakfast. not all gym equipment was switched on in the morning. waiting times for food were unbearable at times. It took over an hour for simple bruschetta at 9pm in the fly lounge.

The hotel displayed immaculate cleanliness and a modern design. The breakfast had many high-quality options that tasted delicious. The staff provided service beyond expectations. They were warm and professional. i felt very welcome throughout my stay, from arrival until departure.

modern design and great breakfast

the room was well organised with great beds i liked the open plan sink area the modern design of the hotel is amazing in some areas i especially enjoyed hidden pools and areas to sit. the beach bar was great for drinks with lovely service we ate in the restaurant a couple of times the breakfast offered endless choices.
the open door shower was the only awkward feature the hotel is a bit far from funchal so it's necessary to organise ubers or bolt. marina is easy to get to with lots of other choices of restaurants.

the hotel offers multiple pools one is on the eighth floor and provides an infinity view. there are several types of beds next to the pools and plenty of parasols for sun protection. guests can chill next to the pool or the beach.

My room had a persistent musty smell. I reported it, but the issue was never resolved . The lack of proper ventilation contributed to a generally unpleasant experience in the room. the service at the rooftop bar was inconsistent. Staff seemed inattentive and slow, which detracted from the overall ambiance. I expected a higher level of attentiveness given the hotel's supposed standards.

The room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. The hotel has two parking areas, one outside and one inside. I found small sweet surprises from Flavia each day.
The gym was somewhat small.

i found the service team very engaged. they were friendly, natural, and down to earth. it seemed they enjoyed their work (which is always a plus!). the views from many rooms were fine, and everything looked well maintained. i had a great experience with the premium service package.
i noticed that not all gym equipment was switched on for use during the morning.
